Steve Lewis in TheOz sees this as Beazley’s attack on coalition economics – rollback IR reform, a fairer tax system, extra spending on education, skills and infrastructure all with equally responsible budgets PLUS debt rollback.
If this package were credible, Beazley would cakewalk into office. Regular readers will know that Henry shares the Bomber’s concerns about debt – Beazley, like Henry, will look good if the economy falls over the debt cliff. Strange bedfellows!
