Geez, we’re not the only ones!
The Treasurer seems to be a precious petal. As his rottweilers chased after Jeff, our attention was drawn to this item in The Australian’s Media Diary today:
Age editor-in-chief Andrew Jaspan has told the Australia and New Zealand School of Government’s media and government roundtable that Treasurer Peter Costello refuses to speak to The Age‘s economics editor Tim Colebatch.
Crikey understands that there’s more to the story than this, and in fact the Treasurer avoids dealing with all economics correspondents.
It’s all quite Nixonian – but with one big difference. Nixon got the top job.
