Another week nearly gone by and still no sign of the promised proof from Firepower that their magic pills and potions work, but chairman Tim Johnston does seem to have something for believing shareholders: a night at the basketball.
The lucky shareholders who have faith in near-miraculous fuel efficiency improvements at the popping of a pill, or at least that the outfit will eventually list in London at a huge profit, can at least enjoy a perk that comes with Firepower’s sponsorship and Johnston’s ownership of the Sydney Kings b-ball team.
Firepower investor relations has written to shareholders inviting them on Tim’s behalf to the Kings v Melbourne Tigers game on Sunday night.
“An informal pre-match function (drinks and light snacks) for all Firepower Shareholders and their families will also be held between 5-5.45pm at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.”
I suppose the punters might enjoy seeing where some of their money has gone.
