Here it is folks — the Crikey/Media Monitors Tuesday Top Twenty for the week of 8-14 May. Once again, the leaders top the charts. Even though last week was Peter Costello’s big opportunity, he just couldn’t cut through — although he came close.

Big movers this week were Alexander Downer, on the back of the Zimbabwe cricket tour, shadow treasurer Wayne Swan, schoolmarm Julie Bishop, Deputy PM Mark Vaile and the Bennelong challenger, Maxine McKew.

Malcolm Turnbull was down, as were the IR duo Julia Gillard and Greg Combet.

But the biggest drop was suffered by Bill Heffernan. He must have lost his voice. Or been gagged.
