What don’t you get in polls? Plenty. For the rest of the campaign, Crikey will be working with Roy Morgan Research to mine the data deeper.
We’re going pull out a range of different demographics, list the 25 electorates with the highest concentration of the groups we chose, and give you an idea of their voting intention, pre and post Kevin Rudd.
Today, we’re looking at employment categories. On other days in the Roy Morgan Top 25, we’ll be classing electors by the issues they believe matter most, their media preferences, financial views, shopping choices, societal values – even what they choose for entertainment.
Crikey’s key seats – the 49 seats we believe will decide the federal election — are marked with an asterisk.
