The Environmental Management Unit (Financial & Corporate Services) would like to invite all [censored to protect the innocent] staff to the watch the film An Inconvenient Truth on Monday, 17 December 2007. The movie has been released for over a year now, since that time Al Gore and the makers of this movie have won a Nobel Peace Prize and an Academy Award.
You can just imagine the scene. The staff return to the cubicles amongst cries of “Quick, unplug those Christmas lights!” “Those candles are carbon emitters!” and “Oh my God, you put real leaves around the advent wreath! Don’t you know you’re r-ping our mother Gaia?”
