Crikey spies are everywhere — even in New York. Hence my ability to report the visit last Thursday 13 March by Bill Clinton to the residence of Rupert Murdoch at 141 Prince Street, SoHo.

The former President politely shook my Aussie mate’s hand before disappearing behind the steel doors where the Murdoch residence occupies a 6,000-square-foot triplex penthouse apartment.

It surely is just coincidence that after this visit the Murdoch tabloid New York Post began featuring stories about Barack Obama’s black minister mate Jeremiah Wright but my informant detected a change in the way that Fox News covered the would-be Democratic Party candidate as well. I’m not normally a conspiracy theory man so I’ll let the pictures tell the story.

I must add, though, that the Murdoch media coverage of Barack and Jeremiah makes an amazing contrast to other parts of the American media.
