There’s plenty of secret squirrel stuff about the 2020 Summit. Crikey’s request yesterday to Departmental Secretaries about what each of them would be doing at the summit eventually prompted the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to try to coordinate a “service-wide response” for each Department head to give (which said exactly nothing), though not before several Secretaries, including PM&C’s own Terry Moran, had told us what they were doing. One embarrassed Secretary even recalled his email.

Despite PM&C’s best efforts, Crikey has obtained the “Program Overview” off the summit participants’ registration site. The site also advises that participants will be offered the opportunity to team up for dinner on Saturday night in small groups. We wonder who’ll get to play matchmaker for those?
