Dancing towards Middle East destruction. An Israeli TV ad shows an actor portraying Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatening Israel with imminent nuclear destruction. A cast of hundreds then implores Ahmadinejad, through a rather catchy song and dance routine, to delay the day of destruction until after their favourite new TV show has aired. I don’t understand a word of the ad, but it’s entertaining nonetheless. — The Interpreter

Children don’t need a mortgage to leave home. We have long been told that young adults cannot afford to leave home because of house prices. Now we are told they can’t leave because of mortgage problems. But since when did twenty-somethings need a mortgage on a nice apartment before flying the nest? — Times Online
