Glenn Dyer’s comments: Monday night is now back as Seven’s night. It moved into the lead for the week last night and will hold on, just like it did a week ago, although the winning margin will be smaller. Ten had its one of its lowest Monday night shares this year. Finishing 4th behind the ABC just about summed up Ten’s night. Its gains from earlier in the year in All People are now gone and its good gains in the 16 to 39, 18 to 49 and 25 to 54 groups are under pressure, as are Nine’s. It’s getting tough and the ABC and SBS on Monday nights are not making it any easier at the moment. Ten and Nine are waiting until after the Olympics to bring new programming into the schedule to fight Seven.

Tonight: Nine’s Wipeout vs. Seven’s The One at 7.30pm. Of the two, Wipeout appeals as a better class of mindless TV. Tonight on the ABC in Family Fortunes, it’s the family of painter John Olsen. It will raise eyebrows for those who are not all that interested in the Sydney art scene. Seven has All Saints at 8.30pm, Nine has double episodes (fresh and repeat) of Two And a Half Men and Ten has double repeats of NCIS from 8.30pm to 10.30pm.
