A whole album of shots of the damaged Qantas 747-400 that made an emergency landing at Manila on 25 July has arrived. Will Alan Joyce, the new Qantas CEO, keep true to his Jetstar habits in offering special prices for various seat rows, and heavily discount any that are anywhere above the oxygen bottles.
The seat right where the cylinder valve shot up through the floor is the one in pieces near the door that had its handle blown up into the “open” position. Fortunately it wasn’t occupied.
