The Democratic National Convention has kicked off in Denver, and while all eyes will be on Michelle Obama when she speaks today, it’s Barack Obama who’s got his work cut out for him to persuade Dems and the nation that he should be the next US President.
“Obama must 1) work to unify Hillary Clinton supporters; 2) highlight his biography in a way that connects and resonates with middle America, 3) do something to assuage doubts about his lack of experience in foreign affairs and his ability to fill the role of Commander in Chief, and 4) drive home his core message that he represents change while John McCain would be a third term of George Bush.” — RealClearPolitics
