Hillary Clinton made several campaign appearances in Florida for the Obama campaign over the weekend, and while she emphatically said “”No way, no how, no McCain – no Palin!” she declined to be drawn into an attack on McCain’s VP pick, Sarah Palin. The RealClearPolitics blog reports that:
“After someone in the audience yelled, ‘Tell us about Palin,’ Mrs. Clinton replied: ‘I don’t think that’s what this election is about. Anybody who believes that the Republicans, whoever they are, can fix the mess they created probably believes that the iceberg could have saved the Titanic.'”
The article also reports figures from a new CBS News poll which shows that Barack Obama has increased his support amongst Clinton voters but that the number of Clinton supporters who said they’d vote McCain remains at 18%. Read the full article here.
