Wondering what life might be like under a Palin Administration? Looking at her track record in Alaska makes for a very interesting read. The International Herald Tribune reports that the Palin administration is shrouded in loyalty and secrecy.
She’s appointed five high school friends to government jobs “often at salaries far exceeding what they had made in the private sector”, and she enlisted her husband to help her with the state’s finances:
“When Palin had to cut the 2007 Alaska state budget, she avoided the legion of frustrated legislators and mayors. Instead, she huddled with her budget director and her husband, Todd, an oil field worker who is not a state employee, and vetoed millions of dollars of legislative projects.”
