Sarah Palin has embarked on hasty world tour in response to criticism that she lacks foreign policy credentials. The Guardian details the potential Vice-President’s destinations, meeting schedules and attempts to beef up her resume.
The Guardian News Blog dissects Palin’s meetings with foreign dignitaries and speculates on the chances the tour can boost her credibility with voters:
“If Sarah Palin was notably short on international experience before becoming the Republican’s vice-presidential candidate, by the end of today she should at least have brushed up on the basics of some of the major current global issues, from the Iraq war to Pakistan’s current plague of terrorist violence and Russia’s recent aggression in the Caucasus.”
