Being the Minister for Everything is finally starting to see consistent media coverage returns for Julia Gillard, while being Acting PM probably isn’t hurting on the volume of mentions front either, as well as finally signing off on the end of WorkChoices.

Anna Bligh up to second because of the recent deluge across large parts of Queensland, while Malcolm Turnbull may have gone up a spot or two, but something tells us he will remain unchuffed to be getting less than a quarter of Kevin’s coverage, while Nathan Rees may be feeling far more sanguine about his gentle slide down the list.

Nicola Roxon is easily the biggest mover of the week, up into the top ten, defending the appointment of the Man from Movember, as well as a few just slightly more serious issues like prostate cancer, maternity leave and binge drinking.

Free three months of Media Monitors’ mediaportal for anyone north of the Murrumbidgee who would have honestly picked (no longer) Bad Boy Ben as the biggest single news story of the last seven days.
