Digitally: ABC 2 won with 1.50% with ABC 1 on 14.10%. Nine’s Go was second with 1.40%, with the Nine main channel on 29.90%. Ten’s ONE averaged 1.20% and the main channel, 18.00%, ABC Two averaged 0.40% and ABC 1, 7.60%. Seven was on 25.90%.
Glenn Dyer’s comments: A solid win to Nine thanks to the Monday night popularity of Two and a Half Men and the two hour finale of a very predictable and tired The Farmer Wants a Wife. Nine will win the week thanks to the NRL finals on Friday and especially Saturday nights.
Seven is shifting City Homicide to Wednesday nights from tomorrow night. For a program that has done well for Seven, the network is certainly doing its best to ruin its appeal with viewers.
TONIGHT: Packed to the Rafters on Seven at 8.30pm; RSPCA Animal Rescue returns at 7.30pm, and a new program, Last Chance Surgery at 8pm. Nine has lots of Two and a Half Men if anyone if interested. The ABC has Foreign Correspondent at 8pm. Ten has The 7pm Project and then perhaps The Spearman Experiment at 7.30pm. After last week’s slow start, it will either click with viewers or fade. SBS has East West 101 at 8.30pm. The Wire on ABC 2. SBS also has game five of the One Day Cricket from London from around 11pm. SBS also has Insight at 7.30pm.
