Kevin Rudd, Malcolm Turnbull, Anna Bligh, Penny Wong, Nicola Roxon, Stephen Smith and Lindsay Tanner all in exactly the same position as last week. It seems it’s the Sargasso Sea out there.
Meanwhile the leader of the Bush Party, Barnaby Joyce, rolls himself up the list with deep musings on emissions trading, the PM’s salary and of course those pampered asylum seekers, in other words the usual effort to get noticed, at which he is so much more successful than the leader of the Coastal Party, Warren Whatsisname.
Environmental concerns of various hues took the place of that little Telstra separation thing as Peter Garrett and Stephen Conroy swapped places and Nick Xenophon and Steve Fielding managed enough funny costumes to make the list for this week.
Some callers were conflicted by their anti emissions trading hero calling for higher political salaries, but other than that another quiet week in talkbackland.

So the manual goes — iconic brand losing sales, come up with a “new” formula, give it a stupid name, watch the outrage roll in and the declarations of love for the “original and still the best”, can the gimmick and watch the iconic brand sales rebound strongly … hmmm, may have overegged the pudding a touch.
