This was delightful and true and believable until the last frame. No one can put the protector on the iphone without making bubbles. The rest of it made me wish I worked in an office…so many opportunities for martyrdom.

BECKCHANOCK: I’ve just discovered something to clean glasses, which I’ve been toying with the idea of using on my ¡phone-in order to fit membrane over screen. They’re called Clear Wipe and they come in individual pkts. I think I can smell acetone in it. They say it’s ok for ord mobile phones. It cleans my magnifiers the best they ever been done.

Very whimsical, FD. Very charming. Most apposite.

I’m always impressed by people who continue on in spite of EVERYTHING. Or, as my grandfather always used to put it, who “battle on regardless.” *

My partner has actually achieved the last panel! Apparently the secret is in buying the right brand of screen protector. She battled with one particular brand, failed repeatedly, then gave up in disgust and tried a new brand which went on flawlessly. I admit it’s still fiddly, though.

My small achievement today was to make my own lunch instead of buying it. Yes I was pleased, but this small achievement shall have to go unrecognised by the Small Achievement Award. Ah well. I shall battle on regardless. 🙂

* I would like to nominate this for the Small Memories That Make You Smile For No Adequately Explained Reason Award.

For some reason, this page is now saying “2 comments so far” but is showing none.

I will check with my partner on the brand of screen protector, and post back.
