Eydie Gorme – 1963 (accent over the last ‘e’) – I was in year 11, this song it saved my life.

I was in kindergarten, so life didn’t require saving, but I remember giving my Mum much mirth by joining in the call and response chorus, with my own version of the dance of love.

Being a snob who refuses to watch commercial TV I’m not au fait with Nine’s personnel. Is that Derryn, Darin? I’ve heard of the others.
