By the way Mr Onthemoon, if you want to feed the magpies they like worms, spiders and insects.
It is even said that they are one of the smarter birds that have mastered the art of flipping cane toads to avoid the poison and pecking out their livers. Bad news for Tibet.
@Paddy: I’ve found magpies prefer raw meat, cut into bite size pieces. Seagulls will kill for hot chips though.
