Bad news for Kevin Rudd this morning: The Courier Mail reports that a new Galaxy poll shows support for the ALP has plummeted in Queensland, with the Coalition leading the government 51-49 on a two-party preferred vote.
And a new Westpoll is showing similar figures in Western Australia — 51-49 to the Coalition, The West Australian reports.
Meanwhile, according to the Hun, bookies have dropped their odds of the Coalition winning the next election to $3.85 — the first time it has been under $4 in over a year.
Is the election that appeared unlosable for the government just months ago now becoming an actual contest?
