Flopfest: Crikey’s film festival, as created by you!

Welcome to Flopfest!

It’s Crikey’s own film festival, as created by you! There is a fancy new website called Xtranormal that will probably be the new ChatRoulette by tomorrow, so we are getting in first and exploiting it’s hilarious-and-easy-to-make film goodness.

As they say, if you can type, you can make a video at Xtranormal. Seriously, it is so easy that even you will find it really easy.

The rules are as follows:

You create a little film at Xtranormal. Something Crikeyish that will cause rofl.

Film must not be longer than 60 seconds.

It must include the following statement:

“We’re taking a whacking in the polls now, I’m sure we’ll take an even bigger whacking in the period ahead, and the bottom line is, I think we deserve it.”

You may paraphrase this line, but only if you make it funnier.

Bonus points for reference to Speedos.

Points deducted for unnecessary obscenity. No poo jokes please, this is not the 7pm Project.

We will laugh and make fun of all of your ridiculous entries, before we pick a winner (or maybe a shortlist for voting on by you? something like that). We make rules up as we go along and no further correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will get a swag of First Dog goodies and 12 months added to their sub, or a new sub for a friend or books or whatever we have lying around the office.

So get on with it. Remember, you may be the only person who gets around to entering, so you win even if it is crap. This has happened before.
