We were treated to an entree when Crikey‘s cartoonist extraordinaire First Dog on the Moon illustated the Western Bulldogs NAB Cup victory over St Kilda.
“I’m going to draw a cartoon for every round of the AFL season to honour the mighty Bulldogs,” he said.
“Like you’re going to do that,” I might have replied.
“Well I am. And if you’re nice to me I’ll let you put them on your stupid sports blog,” said Mr Onthemoon.
Well he has.
And the result might of not been what he hoped for, but he has swallowed his pride and captured the game brilliantly, except for not drawing Barry Hall in a princess hat…
