After traipsing up and down the beach and rummaging through the rubbish bins for bottles, it was Choo-Choo bars, Black Cat bubble gum and Redskins for me.

We used to roll our beach towels along the top like a doughnut and wear them on our heads like an arab akaru.

I used to live next door to a soft drink factory with…err…um…a hole in the fence.
There was a yard full of empty bottles and a milk bar around the corner.
These days you’d call it perpetual motion.
In those days we called it free freddo frogs!!! 😀
