Gambling isn’t illegal, is it Mr Onthemoon? In fact, all federal & state governments seems to encourage it, therefore…why don’t we open a betting book on how many polls will be held until the next election. Effective from midnight tonight. What tremendous fun this will be, all the family can join in.

I estimate 493 polls. Even if the next election is in a couple months’ time I’m sticking with this number.

What is the name of the badger providing poll advice? Bernard Hinault?

Spot on Zut. I cant wait for the next one.

Maybe they will ask how the public can believe a self confessed liar?
Maybe they will do a poll where they ask why this liar has not joined with the government to stop the exploitatio of our childrens health by making a good start on getting rid of smoking?
They might even ask why they didnt support reducing access to alcohol?
Gee Whiz, they might even do a poll and ask him why the poor should pay more tax because he didnt want his friends in big business and mining to pay more?

Or do you thing they might just do another popularity poll on a photo of someone with crap all over them and a photo of a liar?

Steven McKiernan wins the cycling reference award.

As I remember, Bernard’s last observation on politics in his seminal and imaginatively named 1988 work ‘Road Racing – Technique and Training’ (ISBN 0941950131) – “There is always wind”.
