You missed one hand movement commonly used by 50% of the population FD, I would put it next to praying. I was glad to see you covered the other 50% with clicking the mouse!

How else do you tell whether an avocado is ripe?
In a collection of gestures and other things for which we might have used our hands since ancient times, I can’t help wondering whether the Dogonauts will fill in some of the more obvious gaps.

It’s because our hands touch a thousand things a day that I have little bottles of instant hand sanitizer stashed everywhere – because I don’t want to indirectly touch a lot of the other things that other people do.

And frame 1 perfectly illustrates my daily morning ritual as I rise from the evolutionary swamp of the newly awoken to something resembling a functional human.

thumbing your nose, picking the same, pimple squeezing, nail gazing, thumbs upping, giving the finger, dipping a finger into the honey, peeling a grape……OMG this could go on forever! Can’t do any of that virtually though, so I don’t feel in any danger of giving up on good old sensory reality.
