I’d put all hope in a goat incident but it’s looking less likely as the minders have Rabbott on a tight rein.
How about this for a scare: since Pell hasn’t landed the big gig at the Vatican he may be available for GG.

And thus an important new electoral metric is born. Psephologists will be able to report that Abbott is ahead in the polls by 3 goats and a “swearing at a pensioner”. Which is good because the prospect of Honest Johnnie Howard as GG was worth 1.7 goats all by itself.
As for the ‘boat count’ there were also tens of thousands of planes that brought currently illegal (as in actually illegal) visa overstayers into the country. I favour equipping Chris Pyne with some iridescent wings and sending him up to turn the planes back.

I think the image of Christopher Pine presenting his plan to fine Indians by trawling west to Cardinal No really sums up our retro future.
