Clive Palmer has finally decided to rule out running for the Senate, after a weird press conference flurry in which he ruled out running for the Senate because he didn’t like red (“it’s a shocking colour”), then said he would not run again in the seat of Fairfax, then said he might run in the Senate.
His antics were too numerous to name here (and we’ve done that already), but we’re glad that we won’t be dealing with a far-right Queensland politician with an inscrutable agenda and some xenophobic views (remember when he called the Chinese government “mongrels”?) again …
What’s that old line about what you lose on the swings you gain on the roundabout?
From the bizarre to the weird?
Please, no more oddballs, we already have enough!
Pauline has her own agenda ( more xenophobia?) and divisive axe to grind.
No thought of what is best for the country as a whole, she just doesn’t get it!
What Pauline Hanson actually said was deliberately and grossly misrepresented by the Faux Progressive cliques when she first ran for Parliament, so we can expect the Crikey Commissariat to do the same again.
