It was Nine’s night as MAFS held 1.474 million viewers nationally for 90 minutes. Seven’s MKR managed 726,000 (50% less than MAFS) and Ten’s Australian Survivor All Stars garnered 775,000.

Seven’s hour of news from 6pm to 7pm scored 400,000 more than Nine’s hour. Seven was again second and a long way behind Nine with Ten beating the ABC into third spot.

Sunrise (467,000) beats Today (287,000) by 180,000 nationally, but the ABC’s News Breakfast matches Today’s national audience for the first time this year. Could this signal early problems for Nine and the Karl Stefanovic experiment?

In regional markets, Seven news attracted 548,000 viewers while Seven’s 6.30pm news managed 533,000. Home and Away was 381,000, MAFS, 375,000, and The Chase Australia (5.30pm), 317,000.
