Married at First Sight was bested by Seven’s Fire Fight concert last night. The bushfire relief show started around 1pm and ran past 11pm, with only the 6-7pm news as a break. The evening part, from 7-11pm, averaged 1.53 million viewers, which was comfortably ahead of MAFS with 1.48 million.

MAFS was only 11,000 less than the previous Sunday night, however, so most of the extra viewers for the concert came from other channels or streaming viewing.

Dancing with the Stars on Ten was whacked hard — just 497,000 for the performance part and 487,000 for the elimination. Seven clearly won the night from Nine, the ABC and Ten. And, in the morning, the ABC’s Insiders averaged 596,000.
