The MasterChef Australia judges (Image: Ten)

Another very weak Tuesday night that made Netflix, Stan and anything else interesting.

Nine had nothing, Seven had the flat House Rules again which couldn’t get to a million national viewers (879,000) with Nine running dead and the ABC weak.

MasterChef Australia took advantage and grabbed 1.31 million national viewers to be the most watched non-news program on the night.

Seven’s hour of news averaged 1.93 million — around 480,000 ahead of Nine’s hour’s average of 1.46 million. That was enough to give Seven a win on a very lackluster night and yet another example of why streaming video is proving so popular.

Nine was second, Ten third, but grabbed the demos.
