What’s happened? Why are you still single?
For the past couple of years I’ve just been discovering myself, I’ve just wanted to do that alone. I’ve had girlfriends in that time but I’ve been unhappy with me, and I’ve just needed the time to be happy with myself. Plus there’s more material that way, so I might as well mine it.

So in the last couple of years I assume you’ve been set up on dates. No traction there?
Yes, one was a blind date. That kind of put me in the place, because the girl told me she was a female version of me. I’d kind of put myself on a pedestal, so that wasn’t what I expected. I’m not as hot as I thought I was.

Do you like being single better?
I do, it works for me, for where I’m at. I like to be able to do what I want when I want. In a relationship you get another family, and I have enough trouble with my own. I don’t need two more nutbags and siblings thrown into the mix. I just consult with the evil voice in my head, and he usually lets me go, so I’m ok with that.
