I have three times been invited by someone (by three different people) – for what seemed to be a special soiree for ME – to meet them in a venue housing a pokies parlour (twice unbeknowns).
Whenever such a venue is suggested-gushed as an alleged treat for moi – I now recognise an attempt to spit me out as the reason for the other person’s presence in the venue. Hate the tragic things. 🙁
