Nine’s catch-up TV service FixPlay has been rebranded from today as NineMSN Video. The website is still saddled with the need to use the awkward Silverlight plugin, but it does give access to recent episodes of Australia’s favourite shows: The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly, and Two & A Half Men. They must be Australia’s favourite shows, otherwise why would Nine screen them so often on their schedules?
One presumes that this rebrand of the catch-up service is to tie in with the service being made available on the revamped XBox Live service. Gamers will find the new-look interface available to download over the coming days, of which provides access to:
- iView
- Crackle
- DailyMotion
- NineMSN Video
- SBS On Demand
- YouTube
While some of these services will be free (iView), others are available only to the paid XBox Gold membership subscribers.
