Kevin Rudd extends his lead in this week’s Top 20 and, for a bit of perspective, received more coverage than the next seven pollies on the list combined.

There’s four Victorians in the Top 10, with the acting PM in fourth as you would expect and Premier Brumby still riding the water wave in seventh – but the other two? Peter McGauran (5th) and Peter Costello (8th): the media putting them ahead of the Treasurer, the Health Minister and the Communications Minister in the week he ditched the broadband contract. Priorities, folks?

Talkback Top Five

The Rudd and Iemma dominance continue, but Brendan did get some talkback profile out of the tour, and homelessness clearly is an issue some punters care about, which may shock a few spin doctors.
