It seems we’ve sublimated, as in turned from solid to vapour or transferred our ego-based traumas to another focus, rather than achieved the sublime. Poor fellow our country.

Wow… that line alone made me want to cry. Unfortunately FD, you’ve summed up this mess perfectly.

The old pea and thimble trick – c’mon people, why are we allowing those combined jerks in Canberra to pull these cruel stunts? The govt is catering for a few rednecks, hoping for a sprinkling of extra votes to hold onto government. At any human cost.

Its all Terra Nullius again ! Lets hope no enterprising seaman with an eye to the main chance plants a flag and claims us in the name of King Zog. Actually, that might be preferrable to the mob we’ve got.
I can feel the High Court practising their harrumphs.
