A foreign takeover of Australian agribusiness giant GrainCorp is “contrary to the Nationals’ interest”, Treasurer Joe Hockey announced this morning.
Of course, the audio on the press conference wasn’t great; it’s possible he said it was “contrary to the national interest”.
But unlikely.
