Continuing our coverage of political correspondence, we have a letter from outgoing Labor MP Laurie Ferguson, introducing his successor as Labor candidate Anne Stanley. Ferguson’s letter makes it sound like Stanley doesn’t even need to be elected, she’ll just slot into his spot in Parliament:
