Labor retains a commanding lead in the latest Morgan Poll.
The two-party preferred vote firmly splits Labor’s way 60% to 40%, an increase of 0.5% for the Opposition and a similar drop for the Government.
Labor’s primary support is unchanged on 51%, while the Government’s has dropped 0.5% to 35.5%. Support for the Greens is unchanged on 8%, with other parties/independents on 5.5%.
Morgan shows a significant change on the important question of who voters believe will win the next election.
55% — up six — think Labor will win, 32% — down six — believe the Government will be returned, while the number of undecideds remains at 13%.
