Tuesday night saw Married at First Sight carry 1.26 million from Monday’s debut figure of 1.32 million. My Kitchen Rules edged up — 1.24 million from 1.21 million, Nine News was unusually weak nationally (just over 1.1 million against more than 1.2 million the night before), Today continues to struggle, and I’m ACelebrity was squeezed from the top 10 nationally. Whew… and official ratings don’t even start until February 10. By the time we get to kick off the networks will be exhausted. Such is the annual ratings battle on Australian TV.
Seven’s 6pm News was an easy winner in the regionals with 566,000, followed by Seven News/Today Tonight with 535,000, MKR with 427,000, The Chase Australia with 357,000 and the 7pm ABC News with 340,000.
