Will Nine keep its prime time winning streak alive?

Nine’s night in total people, main channels and the major demos. Ten misses out despite a better effort from I’m A Celebrity (820,000 nationally). Ten tied for third with the ABC in total people but was fourth in the all-important main channels.

Married At First Sight pulled 1.35 million nationally, including 1.02 million in the metros, the only program to crack the million mark in the capital city markets (up nearly 100,000 on Tuesday night overall). Seven’s My Kitchen Rules lost ground from Monday and Tuesday to average 1.19 million viewers nationally. MKR’s slide is what you get with a tired format that audiences are no longer desperate to watch. Nine’s Today slipped to 199,000 in the metros for the first time this week. with 293,000 nationally — the pain continues. Seven’s Sunrise averaged 268,000 in the metros and 447,000 nationally.

In regional markets it was Seven’s 6pm News with 539,000, then Seven News/Today Tonight with 508,000, MKR was next with 408,000, the 5.30pm part of The Chase Australia with 355,000 and MAFS with 332,000.
