Nine won with Lego Masters — 1.43 million — though it was down 240,000 viewers from Sunday’s return (and will go on fading, being a one dimensional show held together by the personality of Hamish Blake). Lawyer X biopic Informer 3838 averaged 915,000 on Nine, while the ABC ended second nationally in the main channels, just in front of a weak Seven (whose news had 2.02 million from 6pm, in front of Nine’s news with 1.54 million).
The ABC 7pm news had 1.39 million, 7.30 had 1.38 million and the interview with Malcolm Turnbull had 1.34 million (which beat everything else bar Lego Masters). Four Corners had 1.05 million and Media Watch 974,000 — all did better than any channel bar Nine. Seven, after another big night for the news had nothing — House Rules was weak on 908,000.
In the regions, Seven News had 756,000, Seven News 6.30 had 684,000, The Chase Australia 5.30pm had 444,000, 7pm ABC News had 440,000, and 7.30 had 417,000.
