SAS Australia on Seven — 1.09 million, down more than 100,000 from the debut episode last Monday of 1.19 million and the second episode next Tuesday of 1.12 million.
Another lurch downwards tonight won’t be a good look.
That fall is why Seven fell back behind Nine last night despite a 326,000 lead at 7pm after the hour of news from 6pm. That lead was consumed by The Block on Nine — 1.33 lead up and 1.33 million for the winner.
The ABC had a solid night — the 7pm News with 1.09 million nationally and 7.30 with 1.03 million — were the best.
Ten fell back to fourth as Junior MasterChef (612,000) couldn’t get off its slow simmer. Have You Been Paying Attention showed its strength with 808,000 — that’s a turn on of more than 200,000 or a third more than watched Junior MasterChef.
And if anyone is interested the first of Nicole Kidman’s (and Hugh Grant) The Undoing attracted 44,000 viewers on Fox Showcase. It was also on Foxtel Go (no figures for that). It’s a HBO effort.
Four Corners on the US election — 973,000 nationally — showed interest is high in Trump.

“News Breakfast (ABC, ABC News) — 269,000 / 186,000” – thats down on last Monday (278,000 / 186,000) and the Monday before that (271,000 / 179,000). It’s too early to suggest a trend but it might be interesting to monitor the figures for the rest of the week if David Speers continues on with an entire week of smirking at viewers of ABC News Breakfast…
