If the unthinkable should happen and you *don’t* win the Walkley for your magnificent cartoon on the deficit.
It’s quite clear that you’d be a total shoo-in for the Bulwer-Lytton award for outstanding poetry.
Doggerel indeed!!!

P.S. I think Glen Stevens would love a copy of this for his desk.
He looks quite fetching as the Grinch. 🙂

Urgent FD & Crikey!!
make into a T-shirt now and i will buy a dozen as chrismas presents straight away!
the trouble is it will need to fight for attention with your “fucktober” and the “death of capitalism” tees too, but they could do with the break (and a wash)
