Glenn Dyer’s comments: Last night: something for everyone. Seven won All People, Ten won the demos (except All People), Seven says it won 25 to 54s, Ten says it won 25 to 54s. But in different timeslots? Nine finished closer in some demos than the bald figures show. Seven had a lot more over 54’s watching.

Spicks and Specks was interesting; John Safran was excellent at 9.30pm on the ABC, but just 671,000 agreed. TONIGHT: The second last Q&A of the year at 9.30pm. The Great Escape doco at 8.30pm may be worth a look. Seven has nothing really; Beauty and The Geek at 8.30pm, that’s if you like Two and a Half Men on Nine. Nine has Getaway at 7.30pm, perhaps CSI at 8.30pm. Ten has Rush at 8.30pm and Glee at 7.30pm which is becoming a tasty performer for Ten in the 16 to 39s. Costa’s Garden Odyssey at 8pm on SBS.
