Crown Casino, it’s the ultimate Rorschach test, isn’t it?

For many, it’s a place to while away a Friday night (or lose a fortune). For others, a place to land a plum board position. For many more, including many of our readers, it’s a place that symbolises everything wrong with how power works in this country.

All week we’ve kept our gaze on the saga unfolding between Southbank and Canberra. Elsewhere, we turn the lens on ourselves. The INQ team’s series this week, Media Roadkill, digs into who makes money when a media storm rains down.

As always, let us know what you thought of the week’s news by writing to boss@crikey.com.au. Please include your full name if you wish to be considered for publication.

Have a great weekend,
